About
Sandridge Life Saving Club recognises that young people are an integral part of the exciting and vibrant community atmosphere that makes our organisation special. As part of our commitment to developing new initiatives, we are working closely with Life Saving Victoria to implement youth retention and leadership development programs to help our young members become not just great life savers, but great Australians.
YIPs
YIPs, as it is commonly called, is an incentive based program for 14 - 18 years olds, which involves participation in a number of club activities in order to win certain awards.
More information will be published here shortly. In the meantime, if you want more information on how to get involved, please contact our Director of Junior Activities at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
Leadership Development
Sandridge Life Saving Club recognises that the future of the lifesaving movement depends on succession planning and good long term development of our members. As part of this, we are committed to nominating and endorsing club members for leadership development programs such as the U/13 Development Camp, U/15 Development Camp, U/18 Development Camp, Telstra National Youth Forum, National Leadership Development Camp, Sir Adrian Curlewis Scholarship and the National High Performance Leadership Course.
