State Nipper Champs A Huge Success

On Sat 7 & Sun 8 March, over 1200 Nippers from across the state converged on Sandridge Beach to put their lifesaving skills to the test in the Westpac Victorian Junior Life Saving Championships.

The event was a huge success for the club, as well as the community, with many local community groups and sports clubs invited down to get involved and take advantage of the great fundraising opportunity. Sandridge LSC raised just under $8000 for the weekend.

It was also sensational to see our very first Nipper Team competing and having a ball in the Sandridge colours, bringing some fantastic results.

State Member for Albert Park, Martin Foley, was so impressed with the event he even sent out a Media Release acknowledging the great work of Sandridge LSC.
